Tips to lose weight quick


There are few days left and you want to look phenomenal at your event.

It’s important to acknowledge from the beginning that is impossible to lose all the weight you want in few days.

Having said this, there are few tricks you can do to look as good as possible.

These tricks will make you lose the extra water weight and also reduce the bloating.

1.Reduce your calories

First rule to losing weight is to be in a caloric deficit.

Calculate your maintenance caloric requirements according to your psychical activity and eat 20% less calories.

You MUST avoid foods that you do not digest well, foods that cause bloating.

Cut your snacks, eat lean meat, avoid starchy vegetables, avoid any carbonated drinks.

Now is the time to really be strict with your food choices.

2. Drink more water

It may sound counter intuitive but in order to lose water weight you must drink more water. Aim to drink 4 to 6 liters a day.

You can choose to eat some diuretic foods like asparagus.

Drink coffee, it’s also a good diuretic.

3. Cut the carbs

Carbohydrates can make you retain water, 1 g of carbs will retain between 2.5 and 5 grams of water.

Trust me, you can avoid all carbs for 5-7 days. Everyone can do it.

You can still eat vegetables.

4. Exercise

Any kind of exercise will make you look more toned.

It will also help with weight lose since it is going to be easier to create the caloric deficit.

5. Get enough sleep

During your sleeping time, your body is losing a lot of weight. Try weighing yourself before bed and right after waking up and see the difference.

You can still use salt but with moderation. Do not entirely cut it.

8. Drink a glass of wine

Alcohol is a good tool for dehydration.

Drink a glass of wine the night before the event to help with water loss.

 

It is important that as soon as you reach the event you don’t just binge eat everything.

Take a step back, relax and take it easy. Shocking your body with a lot of carbs and carbonated beverages can make you really bloated.

All these tricks will help you lose weight for a short period of time.

You will probably regain all the weight after the event.
